On February 18th 2022, SCAVI Europe – member of SCAVI (wholly owned by Group FINANCIÈRE B’LAO) had the honour to welcome Ms. Élisabeth Borne – French Minister of Labour, Employment and Integration to the new operating site in Saran, France.

Initially established in 1993 as a Management and Product Development Center with the target to support the global outsourcing activities, SCAVI Europe now becomes the sixth industrial center of SCAVI. SCAVI Europe is one of the pioneers deploying the relocalization of SCAVI’s production to France, bringing back the supply chain close to the consumption market and promoting the “Made in France” spirit. This project aligns with FINANCIÈRE B’LAO and SCAVI Repositioning Strategy, especially in active environmental responsibility.

Thanks to the extraordinary support through the employment development program of French Administration Agencies and Associations in Centre Val de Loire region (professional associations DEFI, GRETA, AFPI and the Employment Center – Pôle Emploi) in recruitment and training, 46 members have joined SCAVI Europe with permanent contracts. SCAVI Europe targets to reach 500 members by 2025 and 1,000 members by 2027.

The Minister expressed optimism about the initial results of this project. She shared on her Twitter (Scavi Europe has relocalized its production to Loiret province in 2021. Results: more than 150 jobs created by the end of the year. Pôle emploi is mobilized to find and train future members. Our economy is doing well and all the whole of France is benefiting from it!
